Young Investigator Award

One of the goals of the European Society of Neurogastroenterology & Motility is to broaden the network of Neurogastroenterology & Motility and to support then in their (inter-) national research projects.

Therefore, ESNM encourages the participation of its young members in the NeuroGASTRO 2019 Conference as well as the presentation of their research work. The ESNM Young Investigator Award facilitates young clinicians and investigators from all over the world to present an abstract during the NeuroGASTRO 2019.

To make this happen ESNM awards EUR 500,00, as well as waiving the registration fee for the NeuroGASTRO 2019 conference, for outstanding research by young scientist members contributing to the NeuroGASTRO meeting.

All young scientists submitting abstracts are encouraged to apply by ticking the corresponding box during abstract submission. The nominee must be first author on an abstract submitted, graduate student/resident/fellow, not older than 35 years of age. The evaluation will be done by the respective committee.

The Young Investigator Award winners will be informed directly at the NeuroGASTRO 2019 conference.
